

Just keep walking until you see a wall with small tiles to the right again. Move backward a bit and you will see a wall with cracks in it on the right. In the third map, follow a long path until you reach a set of bars. Follow the path outside and walk straight into the wall. Turn left and then right from the fifth secret. After taking out the enemies in the hallway on the left, to the right of the entryway is a wall with smaller tiles. Still in the second map, go through the yellow door. Hit it and make it crumble to reveal a secret room with an unlock point. After shooting a horde of bats, there is a wall with cracks in it on the right. Go to the hallway to the left of the red door. There are three secrets in the second map. In the secret room, there is treasure and an additional life. If you can’t find it, look for a red blood splatter on the wall. You can find a secret to the left of the yellow key.

Still in map one, walk across the bridge towards the purple window. Kill the enemies that appear and walk past one of the two hanging skeletons to open the secret room. After picking up the blue key, a platform will rise to reveal some monsters.

After taking them out, look to the right to see a wall made out of smaller tiles. Trigger the bars to the left to open the room with the harpy-like creatures. Proceeding further into the castle area, there is a hallway with a suit of armor where the player may find one of their first secret push-walls, revealing a machine gun and some other valuable pickups.Ĭontinuing forward the player will find a mess hall area to clear out, followed by some castle chambers which are lightly guarded, and an outer cloister-like area with some small rooms full of pick-ups and a door to a vestibule before the elevator.There are nine secrets in the Dungeons, and there are three secrets in map one. From here the player may detour into another dungeon where they may find health items but come face-to-face with more guards and some dogs. Leaving the dungeon, depending on difficulty setting, there may be some guards blocking the player's exit into a castle lobby area. The player starts in a dungeon in front of a dead guard. The Map for E1M1 is very straight forward. Check the map key if you're having trouble deciphering.
